Retrieve Data From A Lenovo Desktop PC

LENOVO 3000 J115:

I have a Lenovo 3000 J115 which is having problems during the startup process. The computer has had a problem for a long time where I have had to hold down the CTRL ALT DEL buttons in order to get the computer to move to the next screen. Once I’d done this I could put it into default and allow Windows to start naturally. I would have to do this every time I wanted to start the computer. Eventually I decided that I would have to install a new version of the OS. I put everything that I thought I would need, including drivers, data and files, into a USB drive, and then wiped the hard drive. I installed the new OS, and started downloading the data. The computer wanted to restart, so I agreed, but I can’t now get back into the computer to view the data I have moved back onto the drive. I will have lost a considerable amount of data if I can’t get the computer restarted.

LENOVO 3000 J115:

I cannot get my Lenovo 3000 J 115 to open files and folders which are on the desktop. I had been having a few desktop problems before, but even when it starts up as usual, it won’t allow me to open any programs, or use the internet. The computer is completely frozen onto the desktop, and I can’t open anything on that screen, even some of the Drives. I can see a few system manager tools, such as Control Panel, and so I can see the files, but I can’t run them onto the system, or download them to another drive. I have tried several times to get Control Panel to open the files, diagnose them or copy them, but nothing seemed to work. I don’t know what else to do in order to get the folders back on the system, and I am more concerned now, as the hard drive has started to fall silent when it loads up the desktop, and it might not be being read when I try to open files.
