Fujitsu Hard Drive Data Recovery
I have an old hard disk which I have taken out of a Fujitsu laptop. The laptop stopped working some time ago, as the motherboard essentially overheated to the point where it got burned. The laptop itself is beyond repair, but I hoped that I might be able to save the hard drive by removing it and attaching it to another laptop. I have tested it with some programs, and when I do that, I can’t find the hard drive name, or any of the files and folders on it. I put in some commands, and they put out a warning that the device does not support certain modes. I have also found that the drive has an ATA password on which is preventing me from getting into the program. I am wondering if this would account for all the problems getting into the system. I have a lot of data stored on the drive, but it is dispersed over a wide area, or a large number of different flash drives and external drives.
I have a completely dead Fujitsu laptop, but it has a lot of data on it that I would like to extract. I have put the hard drive into another Fujitsu laptop which I own, and which is a similar model to the other. However, I am not able to open up the laptop, as it is completely locked. I can’t even access the BIOS screen with the drive running in the new laptop.
