Most customers will ship the unit via fully insured delivery. When the unit arrives, one of our engineers will pick it up, process it and then post it back to you. If you are near to our location, you may also bring the unit by in person.
Yes, many of our customers use this method. Just be sure to package it securely, insure it with tracking information, and we will notify you once the unit has been received. At no time will your hard drive be removed from our premises. It will be processed by our own engineers at all times.
Yes, if packaged properly. Please wrap the hard drive in anti-static material and lots of padding so the drive cannot move during shipping. We will guide you on packaging procedures over the phone or email prior to sending out the unit. Shipping is much safer than running a failing hard drive at your residence with power applied.
No, by not collecting, we keep costs to a minimum for you, and all of your information stored safely in one location. We have two ways that you may hand in your device: either drop-off at our office in Newcastle, or post it via a completely insured service.
Our pricing will be exactly the same regardless of where you are located in the country; this price will be set in writing once a diagnosis has been performed (free), and in most cases you only pay if we recover your data.
