Most of the time it isn’t. The majority of drives that fail continue to store all of their information with no issues whatsoever. The problem lies in the electronic circuitry, heads, and/or the file system, not the actual stored data. All we have to do is lift it out of there without damaging it. This is done on a daily basis by people doing this job.

Once we have recovered your files, we will compare them with a file listing, then deliver your recovered data either by hand when you collect, or ship it out on new media (for example, new hard drive) and post it back to you.

Yes. We will recover (BitLocker, FileVault, VeraCrypt) encrypted drives when provided by you with access to the encryption key, password, or necessary recovery information. Encryption is designed to protect your data from us and everyone else; therefore, prior to performing any services, we will verify all required information.
