That is a fair question and it deserves a real answer rather than a shrug. Being relaxed about timing does help, but not for the reason most people assume — and there are three other things that reduce a recovery's cost far more reliably.

The decode: what timing buys, and the three things that matter more

What a relaxed deadline genuinely changes: scheduling, not labour. The work itself is identical whether it happens this week or next — the same imaging, the same reconstruction, the same hours.
